On the November 1997, Sushi Factory (Australia) Pty Ltd was established as a Japanese food specialised importer and distributor based in Sydney, Australia.

As a food importer and distributor Sushi Factory handles over 1500 lines of frozen food, dry products, non-food items, Japanese ceramics, tableware, kitchenware and commercial equipment imported from across Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan and China.

Main customers include various big franchise companies and local wholesalers located in NSW, VIC, QLD, WA and TAS.

Sushi Factory (Australia)  Pty Ltd, has kept growing in new business development by producing its own central kitchen, 10 restaurants and a Japanese grocery shop. The central kitchen “Thanks Foods” acts as a logistics, food processing facility and product development centre. The types of restaurants produced include casual dining, bistro, family restaurant and fusion Japanese restaurant.
